BORIKA Accessory Mount in the Assembly with Bench Mounting Pad FMk

Technical Details:
The system is designed to mount accessories provided with a male adapter shaped as a 12 pointed star on tubes of Ø 20 — 32 mm and surfaces from 10 to 32 mm thick without drilling. Consists of an Fs219 mount and a bench mounting pad. The design of the bench pad includes a bracket, the inner upper part of which is covered with PVC, a clamp with an M3.2 DIN 6799 lock washer, equipped with a polyurethane gasket that repeats the shape of the tube. The compression force is regulated by a dihedral knob. The mount comprises a female adapter. Attached to the mounting pad with four M6*20 DIN 912 screws and M6 DIN 934 nuts. The adapter of the fixed accessory is inserted all the way into the mount, the retainer of which is in the open position (UNLOCK), then the retainer is moved to the LOCK position, clamping 7 out of 12 adapter teeth. A protective plug made of PVC. The main parts are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. Fasteners — of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel.


Product description:
The FMk system can be mounted both on Ø 20 — 32 mm tubes, as well as on the surfaces of a transom or seat, which are from 10 to 32 mm thick. The system is fixed in the selected place with a bolt, which when tightened presses the body of the pad to the installation place.
The mount securely fixes any BORIKA FASTen® accessories, and also — provided that conversion adapters are used, accessories and devices from other brands ( SCOTTY®, RAM®, RAILBLAZA®, YakAttack®, carp fishing tackles).
To avoid any damage to the surface where the installation is carried out, the body of the pad is covered with elastic PVC inside, and the gasket which contacts with the tube is made of polyurethane. It repeats the shape of the rail, which provides a stronger securing.
The FMk system includes one Fs219 mount, but there’s additional mounting space for a second one. The mount is fastened to the mounting pad in four points which ensures additional strength of the system.
Fixing is fast and simple: after removing the protective plug, switch the locking mechanism into the UNLOCK position, insert the adapter all the way into the mount, and move the retainer into the LOCK position. The accessory can be fixed in any position by rotating the adapter around the axis in 30° increments.

Tips on using & installation:
The FMk system is easy to install — no drilling and no tools required.
During installation we recommend not to unscrew the bolt to a stop, leaving a small gap.
When installing on rails, keep in mind that although the inner surface of the pad provides good grip on the tube, slight axial rotation is acceptable when fixing accessories that require high loads (for example, a spinning rod on an extender used for trolling).
To prolong the service life of the product, after using it in sea water, rinse it with plenty of fresh water.
